I just got an iPod for me birfday. Now I have never had one before, its an iPod Nano 5th gen. I can get tunes
off iTunes but it looks limited, and yes I have CD's to put on also. My question can you put anything on an iPod?
I had Varcaious by Tool in my Windows Media Player and for some reason my iPod will not Sync that. Is there a step I am missing here.

Depends on how you ripped that. If it is in WMA format iTunes has to convert it to aac or whatever format iPods use.

If it's Mp3 it should work no problem.

In your windows media player there is a setting to choose WMA or mp3, change it to mp3 and you wont have that problem again!

I think you can use Nero Wave editor and Winamp(with a certain plugin) to convert most audio formats.
